이번 아트대구 장학기금마련 행사<YU ART FUND>는 국제 미술품이 대규모로 유통되는 대구국제아트페어 ‘아트대구2011’에서 현대를 주도하는 작가들의 주목받는 미술작품을 감상하고 직접 구매하면서 영남대 동문들의 자산투자 영역을 넓히고 미래를 이끌어 갈 Y형 인재들의 장학금을 지원하는 후배 사랑과 국가 미래를 위한 의미 있는 행사로 기획되었습니다.
이번 ‘아트대구2011’에 출품될 작품은 10만원에서 수억 원에 이르기까지 다양하며 감상만으로도 새로운 세계를 경험하며 신선한 에너지를 충전할 수 있는 소중한 기회가 될 것입니다.

YU Art Fund – Scholarship Fundraising for the Development of Y-Type Talents (Character, Creativity, and Initiative)
The YU Art Fund scholarship fundraising event at Art Daegu 2011, an international art fair where large-scale global art transactions take place, is designed to support scholarships for Y-type talents who will lead the future (character, creativity, and initiative). This meaningful event will allow Yeungnam University alumni to expand their investment assets while enjoying and purchasing significant works by contemporary artists.
The artwork exhibited at Art Daegu 2011 will range from ₩100,000 to several hundred million won, providing a valuable opportunity to experience a new world and recharge with fresh energy, even if simply by viewing the art.
